Metal pneumatic diaphragm pumps are available in cast iron, aluminum alloy, PTFE coated and stainless steel with an aluminum alloy intermediate casing.
Cast Iron Construction: Excellent wear resistance, suitable for non-corrosive liquids such as clean water, waste water and sludge.
Aluminum alloy: Moderately corrosion resistant, not suitable for halogenated liquids. Ideal for pumping non-corrosive solids-free and good flowing liquids such as adhesives, waterborne coatings, oils and ceramic glazes.
Stainless Steel Construction: Provides exceptional corrosion and wear resistance, suitable for general corrosive acids, alkalis, solvents, pharmaceuticals (such as toluene), food and cosmetics.
PTFE Coated Design: Provides exceptional resistance to corrosive acids and alkalis with excellent wear-resistant properties, suitable for strong acids and alkalis such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia and hydrofluoric acid.
