Horizontal single-stage end-suction centrifugal pumps type IS and IR for clean water are energy-saving pumps developed as part of a national joint project. IS and IR pumps feature a rear-split design that allows the pump cover and impeller to be removed without removing the suction and discharge lines. The bracket contains two ball bearings lubricated with machine oil or grease. The pump is driven directly by an electric motor through a flexible coupling. The pump body, suction and discharge flanges are cast as a single unit. The entire series has a rational distribution of hydraulic characteristics, providing users with a wide choice.
Product Features
- Simple design, reliable operation, small size and weight, good cavitation resistance, low energy consumption, ease of operation and maintenance.
- Wide versatility, many standard sizes, but only four types of shafts are used; Shafts, bearings and seals of the same size are interchangeable, and the entire series also uses only four types of brackets.
- The impeller is equipped with sealing rings on both the front and rear sides, and relief holes are provided on the rear disk of the impeller, which ensures balancing of the axial force of the pump.
- The pump shaft mechanical seal consists of a stuffing box, a stuffing box and a stuffing ring, preventing air leakage or significant water leakage.
- A protective sleeve is installed on the section of the shaft passing through the stuffing box to prevent shaft wear.
- An O-type sealing ring is installed between the bushing and the shaft to prevent air leaks or water leakage along the mating surface.
Scope of application
- Industrial, agricultural and urban water supply, fire extinguishing.
- For pumping clean water and liquids similar to water in physical and chemical properties, not containing solid particles, with a temperature not exceeding 80°C.
